This really is a very fun event, even though its very restricted to just the 100 Series platform. The whole idea is to keep it free and laid back. Because its grown so fast, we are forced to limit the number of 100s in attendance this year.

The idea of making it a TLCA sanctioned event has been discussed. Once we start paying for insurance plus all the other costs already involved, it's no longer possible to keep it free. We received sponsor money last year that basically covered all our costs. We even sourced the artwork and tshirt printing out to RS members. It's humbling to see what this has become. People plan their summer vacations around the event and spend hard earned money on vehicle upgrades prior to coming. Naturally, there are some first timers on the trail with us everyday and its fantastic to show them what Colorado is all about. Not to mention things like TLCA, Rising Sun, responsible offroading and general 100 Series knowledge. We had 100s from Virginia to California in attendance. Sponsors from North Carolina to Washington. Free stuff galore!
