Congratulations, Matt, on passing the General. Try to get on the air and make some DX QSO's. It's a lot of fun and a great reward for passing the test. For help locating DX stations, go to www.oh2aq.kolumbus.com. They will provide callsigns, frequencies, and time in UTC. It's a good indicator of where the propagation and the MUF is, too. Watch craigslist for used equipment and find an elmer with a well equiped radio shack so you can get on the air at his QTH before you get a station set up. Your timing is good, too, as the current sunspot cycle will peak in about 4 years. Then, you can work the world on one or two watts of power!

Good job!
