I just got a 7 inch Garmin Touch screen gps and drove by a couple of california's Finests in Big Bear and in the LA basin. Not one stoped me for having the GPS in the front of the dash area. Bummer this is what is happening with a use full tool.
Is it attached to your windshield or your dash? I have mine on my dash and as I read the rule it says you can not drive with anything stuck to your WINDSHIELD. So if you have it mounted on your dash you should be fine.
