The sway bar drop is optional, IMO. If you're not rubbing the driveshaft then you're good, and if you really needed that extra bit of articulation you probably already turned the magic dial a long time ago so who cares if one tire is in the air for a second. I've had mine dropped for 2 years, stock location for a couple years before that, and notice no difference.
