Unless you have done the trunion bearings recently, I would do them so you take the Front axle off the list for a long time. You should take the knuckle off to replace the rear felt/rubber/metal and clean it up real well.

I would do the whole job with not having to get in there again as the incentive

also, andother hub socket that will work is the Craftsman 2-1/8" socket is 3/4" drive and is about a heavy and solid a hub socket as you will find. It weighs about 3# and is a perfect fit in the 80 hub ( Per Mike Maynard - Beowulf)
