That was a different Brian, who had just relocated to Colorado from Louisiana on the BOWAGWR. I met him in the KS parking lot and convinced him to join us. He was taking his kids camping in South Park.

His 62 was converted to a 350 V-8 with the H-55 by an aircraft mechanic friend of his in Texas. There was an issue with the length or bend of the shifting rod on the T-Case that was preventing him from shifting into low range as a result of the V-8 conversion. He had not wheeled it since the conversion and was not aware of the low range problem.

Other than that issue, it was a very sweet 62!
