Default HRO was VERY helpful

I bought an FT2800 last week with the intention of using it in the 4runner for a week, and then moving it to the FJ40...

But the Damn thing was SO BIG i could not find a good place to put it in the runner where i could still look at the display.... HRO allowed me to bring the Radio back and exchange it towards the purchase of an FT8800, and only charged me half of the re-stocking fee ($11), even though they will now have to sell it as an open box radio....

John at HRO was a BIG help... and now i need to get hold of Dave's software for the new FT8800...

Forgot to ask, but he has 2 open box FT2800's (i think they are $100.00). I was really thinking about picking up the open box FT857D, but it was gone by the time i got there today
Oh well the FT8800 will be close to the FT8900 i have been playing with.
