Default Hennry Mountains, Summer 2009. I think I found my Heaven

And the storm is coming on
And the wind is blowing colder
And he's very far from home"

No scenes in wasting time with words, lets get right to the point (other than some quick highlights):

-A few days alone in a majestic range
-Trying to hike up to a radio tower on a ridge south of Mt.Ellen, only to fall short of goal. Its hard hiking up a steep taluses slope!
-The rain and light show Friday night
-The thunder storm Saturday morning
-Experiencing theculture of Hanksville for the 4th of July (not my best idea!).
-Rays Tavern
-Coming to the realization that I hate ice, even after purchasing a new cooler.
-I hate I-70 traffic!!

Pics:

1) Morning Sunrise in Rabbit Valley
2) Morning Sunrise #2
3) Stopped in Hanksville at an old mill pulled from the Henrys
4) A view of the range
5) Climbing higher into the mountains

Matt, there was a fire that went through the Henrys a few years ago, hence all the dead trees.
