Company Overview:
The CQ World Wide DX Contest, or more accurately contests, are simply the biggest, best and most exciting events in amateur radio. For one crazy weekend a year, radio hams across the world climb towers in bitter winter winds, get sunstroke laying radials in the tropics and surf the bleeding edge of sleep deprivation and alcohol consumption to prove who are the best ham operators on the planet. For 48 crazy hours in September, they warble data at one another until paint dries, in October, they scream numbers at one another until their voice is hoarse, and in November they listen to bursts of high speed morse until their brains spin. Mission:
To work make as many contacts, in as many countries, on as many bands, having as much fun, as is humanly possible in 48 hours!

All contests run for 48 hours, 0000 UTC Saturday - 2359 UTC Sunday.
