I don't think my wife will let us park any more FJ's here unless its an FZJ80/LX450 for her. We've currently got (2) 40's and a 55 along with a the Taco an ES300 and a 4Motion VW in the drive right now. My FX45 was rear ended at 45MPH on 6th Avenue last night and not sure if it's coming home again at this point. It's not drivable. We'll have to see what Kenny at Kittridge has to say about it tomorrow. No injuries, but we're just a bit stiff and sore today.

But I'll check out the 55.

Kim would kill me if I parked a non-running rig in the driveway.

Sorry to hear about the wreck, glad you're ok.

Dad & Idelle are still pretty sore! But, wow! thanks for the tip Martin!

Didn't even need to buy what's left of the 55, actually he has two of them in his garage. We were able to get several of the most needed parts we so won't be asking to park a 55 carcass in your drive...at least not any time soon .

We picked-up a much needed rear window channel with rubber and window glass attached, a door hinge, a hood and grille for 40 bucks! Great deal, but not too much left on either 55 at this point. If anyone's looking for a 55 or maybe even a 45 frame, they're both in good shape and title's to boot.

He's trying to make room in his garage for a 40 that he's pretty much got done. Nice guy, so I invited him to a meeting and I'll call him before the next one to see if we can get him to check us out.

Again, Big thanks for the tip dude!!!

AxleIke...Thanks for following along. I'm on a high school student's budget, so it's not going to be a fast track project.

Here's a before/after on the Driver's side rocker. I should have some more pics after this weekend to post for your pleasure. Planning to do the hood and start on the passenger side rocker panel.

Ige...I picked up a 2 bump hood for the sheet metal in the front for $15 bucks because my air induction hood is rusted through around the front edge. If the hood you have is the air induction style, I'd be interested. Otherwise, we're going to cut out the rusty area and use the replacement hood for the donor metal to replace any cut away metal. That way we can get the correct contour on that front edge. Let me know!
