Default Somebody done built a new FJ...

Bill mentioned to me in passing at the June meeting, "I wonder when someone will SAS a new FJ". I guess the answer is now. Can't tell if it's SAS'd, for sure, but I can't imagine anyone going to all that trouble and leaving the IFS.

because they have to say something.'' - Plato

Pretty cool looking. That's going to be hard core.

It is the ultimate adventure FJ Cruiser. The bumpers are Fab Fours. The front is really cool looking. Both front and rear are sweet. It is SAS.

I heard about a recurring problem with the FJC, at Burt: it appears the rear axle shafts are bendy. One fella has had them replaced twice now. Anyone else hear of this?

FWIW, the Front Range Off Road Fab Full Floater kit would solve this instantly. AND... it would have rear disks to boot. I think it would be the same as the new 4Runner in terms of fitment.

It's a little much hard core for my tastes, looks like a trailer queen. I'd prefer a road-capable, off-road capable 'dual-sport' personally. Requires more thought IMHO.
