sounds like his engine gave up the ghost today. Lost all power, knocking noise got worse, etc. They are towing it home to have it looked at. We'll see what the diagnosis is, but it sounds like a 3.0L swap may be the easiest thing for him, especially, and I would do this personally, if I paid a shop to do it.

yep, but I don't know how extensive their shop capabilities are. 3.0 source/swap? Probably. 3.4 conversion? I doubt it, but my buddy knows about CTS so we'll see what happens.

If not you can see if TheFatKid has any time. He's fast and does way clean work. All out of his garage. He was a big part in helping Mike with the 3.4 swap stuff at ORS.
