Default Typically DX...buuuuut...

My camera is a DX format, but I'm lucky enough to get to borrow my father-in-law's D700 (FX) quite a bit. That lens really shines on the FX format but works just fine for DX - although, it's kinda of a weird focal length on Dx. I got other that pretty quick.

Is that a picture of Jesus on the woman's roller bag?

As for where - the clues are limited. I'll go with Helsinki?

Das ist der Odeonsplatz im MŘnchen!

The really yellow building on the right is the Theatinerkirche St. Kajetan Basilica. The building with the arches is called the Feldherrnhalle. The church is a dead give-away if you happen to know it. Es ist sehr gelb, auch mit grauen Licht...

We stood in that exact spot I think walking from the Bayerische Staatsoper over to the Court Gardens (Hofgarten) and eventually down to Prinzregentenstra▀e.

Just noticed the lady walking her child. That's something I remember about Germans (we went in Feb/March, too) is that they don't let anything stop them from taking their kids out in the world.

Look closely, the stroller is on skis...

Ding ding ding!!! Dave is the winner. I hadn't noticed the picture on the cart until I posted the picture but it sure looks like Jesus.

The building o the left is the Residence Munich where the Bavarian monarchs lived.
