Default Fall Color, suggested trails?

Howdy-

First fall in Colorado. I would like to take my girlfriend out to see the fall colors when they get going. Does anyone have a favorite trail near or around the Boulder/Dever area or Colorado Springs area? I read the post about Coney Flats, does that have great views? Any other ideas?

Thanks, not looking for a hard trail as much as great scenery.

Coney and the entire Peak to Peak highway up there is some of the best fall color in the front range!

There is always the run on Sunday to Loch Lomond outside Alice. Have not been up there yet during the fall season. They rate the trail a 5, think it's a little less maybe a 2-3... But for fall colors, nothin will ever top the property in Evergreen .
