Default Quick Question - 2F head bolt thread

Anybody know the thread pattern on these? I want to order a tap and die online today and am having no luck searching for the info.

Not sure if it's any different than the 22R, but that one is 12mmx1.25. I have a bottoming tap that works really well for this because the head bolt holes are blind and regular taps lose a few threads to the starting section. AAA Metric south of downtown had them in stock.

Wow, they aren't wasy to find... I found one on Ebay in the UK. Sent him a message to see if he'd ship here.

Edit: Fastenal dosen't list anything in the 13mm size.

Makes me want to go remeasure.

Edit again:

I double checked and it is indeed a m13 x 1.75 thread.

Weird.

If you can find 'em local, order me the set. We are planning on rebuilding the 40 on Wednesday unless a blizzard hits. If it does, we are thinking Friday. I have the alternator bracket for you, just need to get it to you.
