Default Local Headers coating source?

Looking to get a good coating on my headers that are coming in this week.

Does anyone have someone they like locally (Denver/Northside)? I don't want to spend as much as the headers but this is the last time I want to do this job as well.

Anyone vendors that might support the club?

Drew

I just had a set of aluminum valve covers powder coated at the Millers old shop location by a new large powder coating shop called Premium Powder Coating. I am very impressed at the job done, the attitude of the owner who I dealt with, product done at time it was promised and final cost. I will go there again! They have huge ovens that can do whole frames or cages if needed as well! Nice place!

Kevin-

Forgive my ignorance, but don't I want some kind of ceramic coating for heat reduction? I am assuming that since you recommended them and you know what I am looking for, they can make it happen? Didn't know it was a powder coating proccess.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. It is at the old Epoc place?

Ceramic coating IS applied by powder coating or a process called metal spraying. The latter is the best but will cost you more than you will want to spend so powder coating is what you most likely will be doing!

I had my 80 manifolds done at Powder Coating Specialists in Golden. They have held up well but recently I have heard a couple people have not had the results that I did. They did me well but again I am all about references and if someone doesn't believe in their product enough to stand behind it I will find a place that does!

If done correctly it will make the header last much longer. That is always the shortfall on a 40's headers.

Yeah, rust killed this one. I am not too worried about heat as much as longevity.

Thanks UB!
