Default help me solve this 12v outlet problem

ok -
I am on the road a lot, and really need my 110v/5v accessory ports. I have 3 inverters, a commercial grade, a travel style, and a "normal" one. NONE will function in my t100 with the engine off, and only the 110v works with engine running. 5v (usb) does not work on either inverter that has a 5v. All inverters function fine in the w8.

voltage is at spec at accessory plug and battery (14.5 plug, and 14.67 at battery).

I'm thinking amperage, but my multi-meter is only milli-amps.

thoughts?

The factory cigarette lighter in my truck goes off the key, dunno if that makes a difference for part of the problem. I assume the rest of your descriptions are with the key on and/or the engine running. As to why the 5VDC does not work, couldn't tell you but if you want tomorrow I could probably sneak up for a bit to jab around with the meter with you.
