Default Replacement Bed

This showed up on Craigslist today-
http://denver.craigslist.org/pts/1891335753.html

Currently my bed has rusted through on the drivers side due to a toolbox installed by one of the previous owners. The toolbox has been nice, but most everything I *need* to carry could fit behind the seats. I always liked the look of these trucks with a roll bar anyways.

Haven't been able to contact the seller yet to get more information about its condition, but for those of you who may know, does this look like it could be a good buy? I would like to get it at least rust free and primed before installing it, would you guys reccomend anybody to do this kind kind of work?

For $50 you can't beat that. Randy and your Dad surely would be able to give you a hand with getting it fixed up. Sasha was telling of a place he had gone to for body work and it sounded reasonable. He seemed very pleased with the results as well.

Heck yes dude. Grab that for $50. You could probably cut the two beds up and make a solid one out of them pretty easily.

Just saw this rig on Craigslist:

Might be a pretty cool bed idea for an expedition conversion I thought.

Looks like that bed is pretty beat up and will take a lot of body work to make it look decent, although the roll bar may be worth the $50 by itself.

Or you can save up a little money and do an All-Pro tube bed kit. That looks really cool!

Quick update for you all-

Still haven't been able to reach the guy selling the bed in Loveland, but I was able to speak to the guy selling this:

http://denver.craigslist.org/pts/1895181564.html

He still wants to sell it whole but he may decide to part it in the future so I'm waiting to hear from him.
