Default 2000 4Runner Rear Bumper

Got the hitch made and welded in
Image Insert:[br][br][size=1] 82.92 KB[/size=1]
Plated the frame and added 2"x3"x1/4" to mount to.

Overkill
Image Insert:[br][br][size=1] 86.42 KB[/size=1]
Put the ends on

Image Insert:[br][br][size=1] 84.35 KB[/size=1]

Gusseted them
Image Insert:[br][br][size=1] 60.62 KB[/size=1]
Cleaned the ends up.
Image Insert:[br][br][size=1] 93.35 KB[/size=1]
Added tubes
Image Insert:[br][br][size=1] 83.08 KB[/size=1]
Added side protection.

Done!!!

Painted and welded on.

Niiiiiiicce.....

Inspiring too. Might have to do a winter project for the GREEN Chili. I think I might do a mock-up in cardboard and go the plate route instead of tube, kinda follow the stock lines, but angular.

Before I did either of my bumpers, I seriously thought about plate but I just am not crazy about the added weight. So... The "theme" for my rig has been a mix of square and round tube and I'm pretty happy with the turnout.

Yeah I'd probably have to go thin wherever possible.
Not including the wing bumperettes or whatever they are called on the newer 4Runners.
