I finally gave up and bought a Lincoln pneumatic. Kind of expensive, but when you hit the trigger, grease comes out. Every time.

I bought a pistol grip at the local farm and ranch - I like it.

I debated spending the extra few dollars on the pistol grip, but now that I read here it sounds like it is $ well spent to not have to try and do the thigh master with a greasy, slippery piece of equipment!

I have a pistol grip with a flexible hose that I got from Napa. You're welcome to borrow it to see if it works for you.

Thanks

I have the same thing but not from Napa...It has worked ok for awhile but now, not so much - I've been doing some digging on the interweb and it seems that the battery operated ones get rave reviews and tend to just work all the time...Found one that didn't break the bank and got a good review so I'm going to give it a try. I'll post up how well it works, or doesn't, once I get my hands on it. It was similar in price to a pneumatic gun or the highest priced manual guns so "you get what you pay for" may apply

Don't look at me if your thighs start chafing.

Let me know how that works, because I just wrestled with my POS gun and I just threw it in the trash.

Have one of these. Very pleased with it - but only with the cartridge grease. I tried manually packing it, and that sucked.

A lot.

Fortunately, Amazon also sells these:

Default Lincoln grease gun

I have seen these at Havana machine/NAPA. There is also a mid-grade red grease gun that I have been satisfied with. This also from NAPA and appears to be made by/for Lincoln.
