Bring the truck by and we can fix you up in the parking lot. All I need you to bring is a 1/4 bit and cordless drill. It worked better than I would have thought. A/C is fresh and cool!

Thank you for helping with that. It made a big difference. Now if I can just clean the spilled 90 weight up it might be tolerable to ride in.

I would think you would want that positive one covered/protected so you don't inadvertantly commit to some under-hood welding.

Not saying you would, but I know my own behaviors...

Swapped in a '94 radiator and modded the blue fan clutch with 25ml of 10,000cst silicone. The 80 was running in the 200s whenever it got hotter than 90 outside. After the changes, the temp went to 191 once. The rest of the time it was around 175-190. The other change made was to replace all the foam between the radiator and the radiator support. I also added foam between the radiator and the fan shroud. The thought is to direct as much air through the radiator as possible.

Also sourced an all metal, American made, shovel.

Cool. What did you have to do to fit those projectors in the housing?

Nice cutoff!

The pics of the modifications are mostly here: http://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-te...rojectors.html

Ok, I may have gone overboard on this one. I think I found the limit of brightness when measured on a scale of comfort.

I added double the LEDs to the two stock dome lights and the additional one in the cargo area. The two 48 SMT boards are just super glued together and the wires of one soldered to the other.

When compared to the lighting on the house, you can see just how bright the light is in the 80.

There is an extra courtesy light in the front door. Other than that, the only change was to add the LEDs. Keep in mind, you are looking through tinted glass in the rear windows. The cargo area is stupid bright now.
