Dave the 105 version is awesome.. I'll have to research what it takes to pull that side molding, though if it's riddled with holes underneath like the 80's I may need to leave it, lest adopt 60wag's white insert mod.

This is the cheap route.. there are brighter and more expensive solutions if you want your truck to be super silly bright at night (like Treeroot ) but if all you're after is the different look and lower amp draw, then cheap & easy is the ticket. My main interest is can I leave the doors open for extended periods of time and not worry about the heat in the lenses or the battery draw.. if I need to perform surgery I'll grab a head lamp.

I drove a 105. It was awful.

Haven't posted in a while, quick update.

mod 6: OME lift.. "heavy" kit.
mod 7: front locker.
mod 8: dual batteries, IBS control.

75 FJ40 with stuff; and now weighing in at 4370 lbs.
