Default Need a good and low cost Powder coat location

I have a few items that need to be stripped and re-powder coated, not sure where to go exactly.

Low Cost and Good are usually not in the same sentence for specialty products. Two places I have used and would recommend are Premium Powder Coating in Frederic and Powder Coating Specialties in Golden. I have had a very bad experience with Road Runner and have heard since that I am not alone! Premium is an awesome shop with many...many colors and textures to choose from. They will get all my business in the future at this point! Not cheap but a good coating once will always be cheaper than a mediocre coating done a couple times!

I've used Pristine Powder Coating to ceramic coat a headers for the Bronco and FJ40. It is a one man shop, Lee is the owner and he did a very good job on the headers.

Good timing, Chris, wondering the same. Anyone know if steel that is currently chromed can be prepped by just doing sandblasting and powdercoating? Or does the chrome all have to be removed?

Thanks UB and Ricardo!

I agree with your premise UB, I don't really want to un-install this stuff and have to do this again anytime soon.

Streamline Custom Coating in Cortez, CO is who I use. They are great but shipping probably kill you. They are very affordable IMO.

Blue Flame on West Evans did a great job on an old Craftsman tool chest.

A match made in heaven for Starbuck, er, I mean, Blue Flame, himself, the FJ wheeler formerly known as Chris Sandstorm himself.

I want to get my trailer hitch blasted and re-coated too. Maybe a volume discount?
