Nice....you are clearly very intelligent and understand the "Cruiser thing!"

I would have gotten a 100 instead of the 80 if it had a solid axle. Maybe in the future I would do a SAS to a 100. I have too many other projects to cross off my list in the meantime.

I would have got a 80 instead of a 100. If it had a v8, better brakes, was more luxurious inside, and more comfortable to drive.

I have seen more broken birfs than I can count. I have yet to see a broken 100series CV. Just putting that out there. (I better bring a spare next time I head out)

A well built 100 will go anywhere a well built 80 can, just faster.

Must not be any well built 100s out there then! I haven't seen but I have heard of broken 80 birfs but I believe all have been with tires bigger than 35".

The 4.7 does sound fast....

Personally I've never seen a broken 80 series birf but I have seen a 100 series broken front diff.

If only we could get 105's then we could all be friends.

Farnham, I think your also a better than average driver. So you can take your 100 where most 80's go.

Kipper did you keep track of your old 80? Would be kinda fun to get that one back.. though you'd have to make a topper so you can take the kiddos..

They pop up from time to time, will keep my eye open!

that actually would have been perfect since I've been torn between an 80 and a pickup.

...a replacement vehicle was procured this afternoon....
