Buy way more disks than you think you need. Good eyewear and earplugs. Wear flip-flops.

Why do people do that.... Jeez.

I just worked mine back and forth until it broke... Needless to say my PO was a crappy welder. On mine he welded the bumperettes/step to the bolts he had broken off. Lazy, but better for me in that he didn't weld it to the rear crossmember.

Default grinder

This is the mess I had to cut off using a grinder.

When the grinder slips don't catch it with your other hand. Learned that the hard way.

I would check into the air-arc process to remove the welds then use the grinder to clean up. This process is much faster and cleaner than any other.

Phrog, If you haven't got these cut off yet and come by the shop (West Greeley) I'll cut em off for you for free. Call ahead though as we've been bouncing the shop hours around like crazy.
