Chris,

We love our 2003, my wife and kids are really pleased. Nakman has a great point about the '99 and mods; this is sage advice; additional comfort comes with later model years. There is a "material" difference in the amenities on the later models. I love the 5-speed in the 2003 and a bunch of other stuff that I can't recollect.

I have not "wheeled" my junk yet, but have spent lots of time in the weather (big weather) of AZ, NM,and CO and been very happy.

Cheers,

M

I've got one.

Chris, the view of the road compared to an fjc is amazing. I actually saw your truck on buchtel a few days ago. I don't think you'll regret getting a 100.

All of the sudden I feel like I'm seeing 100's everywhere. I'm not sure if its this thread and all the 100 porn around here, but 100's and LX470's seem to now rival Odyssey's and Sienna's for parking rights at the YMCA, Rec Center and other places frequented by parents of elementary school kids.

Maybe it's time for a 100 series smilie so that we can show it some love?

I need to talk Michele into getting a Hundy and get rid of her Pilot.

I see them everywhere also!

Hey Jeff,

Thanks for the feedback. I was just thinking of asking your thoughts and there was your response...Sames thing happened to me the other day, I was about to ask for help finding this thread and boom Wes PMd it to me before I could ask.

You guys are super in here!

I am leaning toward a 2003 also, because of the 5 speed thing..I like your color also. I am ok with dropping 20-23k for this rig as once again it will mostly be Melinda's ride, unless i am trying to get as far as possible from the Green River Starbucks......Eventually I will drop an air locker in the back and be good to go. It is really tough being patient, not my strong suit, as you all know well...

Trying to take my time and find one that is the right fit for us... I am a bit of a neat freak so it needs to be clean and a mall wagon..Buying one with mods already is no fun...

I'd want the 5-speed too. Take your time and find the right one.
