Seems like maybe you should be able to use 60 or late model 40 rear drum plates that have the bellcranks. Then you could just use the cable actuated parking brake set up. (?)

The other problem with a line lock type setup is that the constant pressure in the lines will eventually lead to leaks--especially when it's super cold.

I've got one of the split case "kits" from SOR like the MAF one that is no longer available that I plan on installing in the next two days. I know that they aren't available any more (I've got to deal with this on my 45 still), but used I think they are still occasionally found from HJ-47s.
