I had him and his friend on my Thursday run. He was SO excited about his new truck. I took a quick peek at the dinner and it is sweet!!

I ran Gold Bar Rim with the new owner ( he was riding with a friend at the time) and he was excited about it all day.

Five cylinder Mercedes diesel power = awesome. Was this out of a Sprinter ?

I would post pics, but we are looking at getting the truck in some magazines

I can say thanks to all the rising sun members for a great time this year in moab, and welcoming Robert< owner of this rig> to the group, and the event!
I can throw in, the motor is out of a 83 Mercedes 300 TD. Trans, is a H42, followed by a rock box, and 4 speed case, with twin stick, custom Red Line trans mount, rebuilt, glass beaded, and clearcoated for finished look!
front axle is a custom all toyota full width, and a 80 rear. Wheel base is 102" on factory springs!

I can say that we are going to be testing, and de bugging this rig this summer before delivery. We will be at the R/S Rally with it, and on some R/S group runs! Seeing it in person is even better
