Default Adapting 4 Runner seats to a FJ60

I picked up a set of 4 Runner seats to replace my old worn out seats. Has anyone used these seats in an FJ60?

The mounting problem is the width. Removing the 4 Runner sliders isn't possible without taking other integral components along with them.

My solution would be...

Remove mounting brackets from Runner sliders.
Attach a strip of stock front and back that runs side to side.
Attach FJ60 brackets to stock.
Bolt on and go.

I have done it. The 4runner seat will sit you a little higher than the original seat, which may not be that big of a deal to you. I basically hacked up the 60 brackets a little and re-use the 4runner sliders. So I basically just welded the sliders to the 60 brackets.
