The all electric Rav4 is supposed to debut in 2012

Will it be able to crawl without swapping gears?

Nice!

And no, this thing cannot "crawl" to save its life. Definitely stalled the torgue converter a couple times going over the baby rocks. Had to back up and "bump" it, LOL.

I was overall very happy with it. I loaded it up with a bunch of gear, far more than was needed for the overnight trip, but I wanted to load it down and see how it handled and what the power was like. With the seats down, it has plenty of cargo space, and I was very pleased with the ease of loading in and out (vs a lifted 1st gen 4runner).

It had no issues cruising at 65-75 up I70 to the Empire turn-off, and it accelerated very well on Berthoud Pass, especially for a 4 cylinder. Averaged 27.5 mpg for the trip, and that was with the AC on the entire way.
