Thanks to all for your support. Now we need to pay attention to Buca, he is listless and has no interest....even in diving for rocks. He just stands there and looks at them. We need to get a puppy for him to teach the young one the tricks of the old master. Most likely in January when I get my other knee replaced and will be at home to help Buca out.

Goodness Tom, your story made me tear up here at work. Dukie was deeply loved. It was only his body that let him down, his soul is just beyond waiting. Sure, he'll fill his time having people throw his ball, but when the time eventually comes he'll be the first to greet you after St. Peter. I would say RIP, but we all know freed from the constraints of bad hips and cancer that they won't rest for one second. So Play In Peace Dukie.
