Geez - holdin' out on us with this project. She's beautiful. So what was going on with the right rear quarter panel? It looks like a sill repair, except that it's too high to be the sill.

And was there something special you did with the gas tank pit, or did you just put down some extra primer to protect it for the future.

Seems like you started with a pretty nice body, but definitely made it 1000x better.

Matt, the right rear in addition to the sill repair had rusted through at the wheel well, as you will see in this pic, I had to replace the inside lip of the well along with the exterior panel patch.



Gas tank pit as well as some areas in the bead required some fill, I used an aluminized metal fill after wire brushed, alumina blasted and treated the rusted area with a rust convertor product.

She was in really good shape for the year, completeness and cost. My wish was to try and put her back as original as I could within reason. I think she will get many more years.
