Thinking about picking one of these up for the Cruise Moab but can't find any info on a decent antena. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. This radio will be portable between the 40 and the 80 if that makes any differance.

If you want a portable antenna, a buddy of mine had a Lil' Wil for several years before going to a hard mount. He seemed to have good luck with it. Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Little-Wilson-.../dp/B0006VKG7K

Thanks BJ. I'm thinking of something permanent for both rigs if possible

Hard to beat the Larsen NMO27b if you want to go hard mounted. I run one on a little sheet metal bracket bolted to the hood hinge on the driver side corner near the windshield on my Tacoma, and it works well. If you trash the whip they're around $10-15 to replace. When I'm not using it around town, I put a little weather cap on it and it looks like a GPS puck antenna or something.

I don't remember the brand, but I have a tunable 4' fiberglass antenna on a quick-disconnect mounted to the bumper. It seems to be pretty good.
