Default Wreck by Trail Gear Car at KOH12

This got my attention.

Racing can be pretty brutal but dang. AFAIK, they are not breaking any rules, this is just desert racing, and they chose a bad place to pass.

Language may not be safe for work or children, so view at your discretion. It isn't anything that you wouldn't expect from injured people, but it is swearing.

They actually lost sight of the track due to dust. They are both ok but the navagator brok e both feet and the driver severly banged up his feet and lower legs. Did you see the 7th finisher car cross the finish line? Not hurt but one heck of a show!

Think Workman's comp will cover this? That was a harsh crash, ripped that wheel right of the mount. Glad to hear that they both are OK.

"Team TG Racing crashed around mile marker 53 in the first lap of the King of the Hammers race yesterday. At the time of the crash they had passed 65 competitors and were in 15th place. In addition to the typical bruising, Matt, driver, suffered a concussion and a broken thumb and Nick 'Red Dragon' co-driver, suffered two broken ankles. Both credit the Hans device with saving their lives and limiting their injuries."
