Default Test Equipment

I have some extra test gear, a couple of SWR/power/field strength meters. One is HF-only and the other HF/VHF.

Models are Astatic PDC-2 (good to 100W and does work on HF and 2m) and Monarch FSI-3 (this is an SWR/field strength meter only, so it's useful for tuning antennas).

I would be willing to sell them if someone really wanted or needed it now, but was thinking that I would give them away with a caveat.

The next person to upgrade to General gets the Monarch and the next new Technician licensee gets the Astatic.

Dave,

I'll take the Astatic if you don't find any General takers.

What an awesome offer. Currently studying for my General but no idea when I'll be able to take the exam. Work has me totally buried.

I'm in no hurry. Hopefully we have a new general for you to give it to.

I'm looking into getting my Tech. Might be a few months but I'd be interested in the Astatic. Do I need to be rising sun member to put my name on this list?

No need to be a member. I'm not a member currently.

I'm not holding the meters on promises, the first newly issued call sign gets it. There are tests just about every weekend... :-)

That's real nice of you Dave! I think I may still be the newest HAM in Rising Sun. However, I'm not smart enough to even know why/how to use either of those.

Alright, got almost no interest so you guys want them? I'll leave it up to you Stan, since you are technically the newest ham would you like the meter? If not Jeff, the Astatic is yours and Sean, if you'd like the other you are welcome to it.
