Default DUI dizzy install questions...

Well I'm partway there - I have the old dizzy out. The new DUI dizzy
however is obstructed by the bolt sticking out of the engine block that
connects to the bracket that holds the metal coolant tube that flows to the cabin. If I get the new dizzy past that obstruction, it looks like it will
slide right in.

Any reason I shouldn't just hacksaw that bolt off? I don't like cutting
bolts - particularly those that are part of the engine block - but I don't
see any other way to get that DUI dizzy to slide down into the dizzy hole and engage with the oil pump.

Ideas welcome. Thanks.

Default Dui

Never mind. I just cut that bolt off. If I just screwed the pooch -
I don't want to know about it.

That bolt is kind of important. You should remove the remnants and put a new one in. You don't want just one mount for that heater hose tube.
