Nice looking 400 EXC on the market - these don't come up that often. Probably around 3000+ miles based on the hours.

Dang. was there not a 450exc back in 2005? 400 seems like an odd displacement size, for some reason.

Mine is a 2005 450 EXC, so yes it was available.

When I was researching bikes before I bought mine, the guys that run the 400's swear by them as being the best marriage of trail bike/enduro/dual sport in a single package. It rides like a 250 (2 stroke) in the woods, but feels stable like a 525 on the open road. The love for the 400's was consistent across the board, which is not the case for 450 and 525 owners. Obviously it's all subjective internet banter, and we know the differences are subtle, so.... I never found one to ride, but I was definitely intrigued. That said, I love my 450.
