Not worried about structural damage. The 80's cut this entire section out for the High Clearance bumpers.

It's being backed up with a nice beefy bumper also.. I cut out the rear cross member in the 60 also and honestly think it is more rigid with the bumper rather than the cross member.

Nice bumper though..

That piece of the frame has been removed entirely on my truck. Without issue.

Yes you can. It is still installed but I see a Mon/Tues night Nakman visit in my future.

Edit..Hey Tim, I think I should keep that brace intact, it protects the body. Also I did promise Melinda that if we did not need the tire carrier, I could remove it, thus needing the spare under neath. Sorry man.
