Thanks for the compliments. I guess a lot of poeple combine this with a loop onto the Argentine Pass Road, 248.1. We saw a fwe bikers on the trail yesterday, but to be honest, not many people considering how close to town it is.

Wow, great pictures Perry! Don't know how I missed this report, but looks like a great hiking/biking/snowshoeing opportunity! Do you know how far it is to Pavilion Point from the trailhead?

Matt,

was going to respond last night but fell asleep. Yeah, i'm a lame ass.

It's an awesome route for hiking, biking and snowshoeing.

At 6%. The grade is easy, for us humans anyway. Some folks like to combine the Argentine route 248.1 to make a big loop.

Up to Pavilion Point and back took us only a morning. Awesomeness was A) Getting home before traffic started and B) The Georgetown Loop huming away while we hiked the Argentine Central.

I called it the Ghost of Argentine Central while hiking down.

Very nice Perry. You should have some of the pics framed and kept to document the buildings up there which only have a few more years left. AWESOME!
