Default Chicago and back in one day

Thats right . Lexus had there "Ride and Drive" for the new IS350/250awd model. Talk about a long day. Got to Chicagoaround 10:30, to the dog track where the event was held had lunch then onto the event. Odd that it didnt start till 1:45. We eneded up having to cut out early to make it back to the airport in time. Think I liked the IS350 with "VDIM" the most. was the funner one to drive on the track. They also had the Gs's and a RX hybrid to drive, that thing is fast . Then it was back home. Man, a looong day. First time i've flown to since befor 9/11.

Welcome to my world. The road looks good from the out side but it gets old. The electronic controls on the new vehicles are pretty cool but trying to get enought information and to be able to teach it is the trick.

I've got my Highlander Hybrid demo and it's a rocket that gets 26 mpg going across town daily ! It's good but I cant wait till I can get the FJ in Feb or March. :p

Yeah, I figured they would get old quick. Just was nice to be able to get out of D-town, even if it was for a day.

IH8TFlying. Don't get me wrong, I like airplane rides, especially takoffs and landings. But the whole airport thing is just a bunch of "hurry up and wait". And since 911 it's only gotten worse.

The Blues Brothers could do it!

"It's got a cop motor, cop shocks, and it was made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on leaded gas..."
