Haha! I don't know what it is but I can use my imagination and would love to hear the story this year over a beer.

The troopy will be there, though I am going to take it easy and hopefully not break anything :knockonwood:

I'm looking forward to meeting a bunch of new folks and

I shared it on the Land Cruiser Mailing List in 4 parts. It was entitled "How I won the 8-Ball Award". That was Cruise Moab 2002. Below is a picture of that rig on Poison Spider Mesa.

Love that truck! Do you no longer have it?

I will have to find mailing list parts and enjoy the read.

I traded it straight-up for my 1978 FJ45. The HZJ75 was a 1997, and when I got it in 2000 it was too new to import legally unless I spent big bucks having it converted and certified to DOT/NHTSA specs for a 1997. My friend I bought it from kept renewing the Alberta plates for me every year until we worked out the swap. That story appeared in Toyota Trails some time in 2005, entitled "The Worst Kept Secret".

It only had 14k miles on it when I got it, the speedo and odo read out in miles instead of kms and it was left hand drive. Very nice truck!

When do you expect to send out trail assignments, so we know what we ended up with?
Thanks.

I was hoping to have that done this past weekend, but just got home from being hospitalized. Working on it right now, but catching up on emails and forum traffic as well.
