Another one at Boulder Toyota today. It was mounted to the frame rails using some aluminum clamps that were slid into the factory bed channels.

That one is interesting, it has two handles in the back door rather than the single center one. Very late production I guess.

It is re-assuring to see old nests on new trucks. Seems to be not un-common with older Four Wheel Pop Ups too, some of them re-furbished. I guess Airstream trailers go the same route. That dual handle rear door could have been a replacement after a broken window or break-in.
