Default Antenna Problems?

I'm a little confused. I fired up the FT-2900R earlier this week--hooked up to a Slim Jim antenna--and I cannot seem to transmit out to any repeaters. I haven't used that radio for a few months. I can receive fine and I can transmit on simplex, but nothing through a repeater.

The antenna sat out all winter, but N9TAX said they are fine as long as the connectors are waterproofed (which they are.)

I'm kind of at a loss...double checked the tones and shifts and everything is set correctly as it was last time I used it. I can hit the repeaters with my HT, so it's not my location or anything.

Ideas?

Default

Nevermind...did a factory reset & it seems to have fixed the issue. Sucks ass loading all those freqs back in! I was able to check in to NTS net tonight! Still need to get a damn antenna on the roof!

Can someone explain the TSQL vs TONE options? Both seem to work fine.
