Found this guy out on the job last week. Nearly 4-1/2 ft long.

This, on the longest day of the year, first day of summer. And a tow truck following me with my recovered 4Runner.

Default Bridge

Time to send my camera in for a tune or get serious about saving for a D600. My autofocus is having a lot of problems lately. Too much time in my tank bag I think.

Default lightning

I love taking lightning photos. I didn't prepare as well for this as I should have. Some nights, if I think there will be a good show I'll pre-focus in the daylight, lock it in, and when it gets dark I know I've got it right. It's tough to focus in the dark.
