Default Factory or Custom? FJ40-ish vehicle

Was this a factory offering or a really well executed or photo-chopped creation. I am very tempted to create something like this on an 100 series or tundra chassis.

Anyone ever come across this build up? Or it may be a photo chop, if so, its pretty good.

Looks like a photoshop because here's the same picture without the back doors

But this one looks pretty legit! It looks like the FJ troop carrier with doors grafted on the back. I have always liked troopies!

I think its a photo chop. The lower door hinges are too similar and the thickness of the rear door window frame is too skinny on the front side. Nice looking concept though.

That other photo makes me think its a photo chop as well. I wonder if I scale it in photoshop I could start to see what kind of wheel base it has. Man, I would be LOVING something like that.

The fj43 had a longer wheelbase than an fj40 but the rear overhang was pretty long. That was a custom job. Looked like arctic trucks

Doesn't Aqualu make a body kind of like that?

Might be a good place to start since you're contemplating building something. The 100/40 series idea is interesting.

I've thought about doing something like that too with my 40. But can't decide if it would be worth the work. In the end you'll still have the thin 40 body and poor aerodynamics all making it noisy on the HWY. Never be as comfortable to take on a long trip as a modern wagon 80/100/200. It wood be cool as hell but not practical enough for my

Back to the original pic, I'm pretty sure its a photoshop from MUD.

I bet carpet and a 1/2 mile of Dynomat would knock the noise down well.

My wife just said she loves it and gave me permission to buy a troop!
