They're actually calling for snow above 12k. It rained like crazy up there yesterday and Webster Pass is still blocked.

Stan , looks like you were just up there. Should I move this to the following week? Getting stuck in poor weather not only isnt safe, but takes the fun out of it

I ended up not going, two of my buddies went. It was wet and cold and they got rained on pretty good. I left the house to meet them on I70 and we were gonna head out to Wheeler Lake, but they called and said they were toast. It was just raining too hard, so I just came back home. Never rained a drop at my house!

Totally your call. I'll show up if you're still running...... Or I'll come next week too. The earlier the better tomorrow, before the rains move in and the temps dip.

The last time I ran it I was in a CJ5 with no doors or roof and it rained on me pretty good! The 100 is obviously a bit more insulated, however I agree it wasn't too fun with the poor weather and visibility.

Yeah, Sarah and I are both working though

Looks like no snow based on the forecast. Lots of rain tonight, then rain tomorrow after noon. We should be fine and just not stop for lunch before the peak. Should be off the peak before the rain

Rain will not be your problem! Being on a high iron content (red) mountain peak in a lightning storm will over-charge your batteries!

Ken... just wanted to confirm the meetup time and place. Still 9am? Or earlier/later? And, the Conoco right in Bailey (bottom of hill just after the big curve?) Or, the Loaf n Jug at 285 and Bulldogger Rd in Bailey?
