Yep. Don't do a swap and bank on fuel economy as the main justification. Do it for power and drive ability.

Default There's this guy...

You might want to chat with that guy at Adventure Off-road. I think his name is Robbie and I heard he knows a couple things about diesel engines and swaps. He drives a rig like this...

Ok, all joking aside, Robbie knows his stuff. Cruisers/swaps/diesel. If I were to do a diesel swap, he'd be the guy I'd want to do it.

I'm sure it would be a great conversation to talk to through that kind of conversion. I'm staying tuned as I've always dreamed about a diesel in my 60.

I would do a 1HZ or 1HZDT. pricy but for the weight of the 80 series, I would not put anything else in!
