That would be my alternate method, as I've done that before just strapped it to the rack on top. But sounds like that's an even worse idea...

Hey Tim, I see a big problem with the way it sticks out to the side. on tight trails you will hit tree limbs or even trees on off camber spots. I have my axe and shovel mount on my roof rack mounted tight to the rack and have lost the shovel several times catching branches even with quick fist clamps. just a thought seeing that. Dan

Default basketball hoop?

What I really like is the mobile nerf basketball hoop he's got on the other side. you only see the back of it.
