I saw you on I-70 on Sunday headed east in the afternoon. We were in our minivan headed back from a day at Copper Mountain so you wouldn't have noticed me.

You were one of those dads driving a minivan staring at us...

AH MAN! Another amazing trip. Crazy about that dude with his 50th anniversary. Looks like I'm going to need to get out there this spring, maybe we can organize a trip.

It'll be my 23rd anniversary of going to the maze, spring breakish time.

Hey Keith, great shots. Very cool.

I'm sure you've been asked this a thousand times on here. But, what camera do you use?

Too funny. Once Perry and I saw Cardinal as the passenger in the family minivan. Heavy traffic so we chatted a while.

Hey for anyone else wishing to get out there, obtaining a permit can be done on line at http://www.nps.gov/cany/planyourvisi...trypermits.htm. They have an availability calendar on line and everything..

You can almost have your pick of the place November through February, as long as you don't mind shorter days and crisper nights, snow is rarely an issue. Peak season is April-May and September.. my favorite time of year is likely October, though the last week of April/first week of May ain't so bad either.

Point being, if you think you need to get out there then you should just make that happen.

Thanks Tim - I'm in that boat.
