Mike, did you regear?

From the research I've done, which is limited at this point, the 5.7s don't need a regear unless you go larger than 35. Most of the ones I've seen with 37s have been regeared.

Personally, I'm not planning a regear and will be running 35s. I will be adding an ARB locker in the back though.

I enjoyed my 2010 Double cab for the year and a half that I had it. It was too big for the garage and driveway and I wasn't about to let it sit on the street so I sold it. I really liked that the 5.7 had tons of power and everyone commented on how quiet it was in the cab. Everywhere is quiet to me because I am deaf. The only thing I didn't like was it just seemed so huge when driving in tight spaces or parking lots. My wife would always laugh because it took a twenty point turn to make it into a parking spot.

beater, nice looking truck. was your other one a dbl cab or a crew cab? I like the idea of the power back window on the crew cabs and wish they were on the dbl cabs ,it's not like you can reach back and open/close the slider while your driving.Any way i'm still looking and am not sure if i want a dbl or a crew cab.

dbl cab is plenty big. 6 footers are no problem in the back seat of a double cab. In my opinion, the bed is just too damn small on the cmax, and the back seats are hella huge. NO one needs an adjustable back seat, plus there is no storage on most cmax's.

the 2014 has a sliding rear window on the limited, it was std on the 13 with the sr5 upgrade package. They took out all the interior storage on the 14's too. oh, and a 6% price increase.

Default new to me 2008 tundra

after looking for a while now i finally pulled the trigger, a 2008 toyota tundra dbl cab sr5 with the 5.7. I have had it for a month now and am still getting use to it, much bigger than my 2000 tundra, but has a tighter turning radius, so far i like it allot.
